Achieving Corporate Excellence, Inc. provides a variety of training opportunities that will have you thinking differently about team building. From outdoor high adventures to indoor tabletop activities, our customized team building programs are enjoyable, interactive and provide opportunities for all people to participate. The inherent value of our programs reminds participants of the power of teams while strengthening their communication, connection, and leadership skills.

Since 1990, Cynthia has provided some of the most powerful team-building events, and leadership and team building seminars ever offered to corporations, associations, schools, and churches. The teambuilding program actively engages participants in events that build skills ranging from: trust, teamwork, and responsibility, to problem solving. These team-building events can serve as a stand-alone event at a convention or the cornerstone of more intense training.

The Key to a Successful Program

All programs are specifically designed to meet the needs of your business. Programs can focus on a variety of topics such as: strategic planning, communication, sales training, leadership, empowerment, conflict management, and goal setting, and motivation. The success of the program comes from the having a professional facilitator that knows how to identify the specific needs of your team, to give value to the investment in training.

High Course Events. If your team is ready for more of a challenge, you do not need to be on Survivor or Fear Factor, just participate in some high course events. These events emphasize risk-taking, communication, and trust. These challenges allow participants to expand their comfort zones sometimes dramatically and recognize fears that may block personal achievement. Each moment is rich with discoveries, whether a person is climbing, supporting "on belay," or finding an effective way to encourage a team.

Are you ready to take learning and personal development to new heights? Select from one of these programs:

Achieving Corporate Excellence, Inc. has a staff of highly-trained facilitators actively using adventure-based activities to develop skills within organizations, schools, and for people of all ages. These programs, commonly referred to as Reality Oriented Physical Experience Services (ROPES), Outward Bound or Outdoor Management Development (OMD), and /or Experience Based Training Development (EBTD) use the nontraditional activities and outdoor settings when appropriate to build team cohesiveness and promote strong team skills. Activities that engage in play tap into the brain's right hemisphere, often underutilized in the workplace. This is the cerebral real estate host to imagination, creativity, and intuition. This is where the answers to your problems can be found, but first we have to bring it to life.

A natural outdoor setting offers participants a chance to shed office titles, eliminate role conflicts, and intensify the need to build relationships as activities are presented. The temporary elimination of job titles or social identity is important, as participants are able to interact quickly on a more personal level. Dropping role barriers increases the freedom of expression as the games begin.

All learning is experience-based. Whether we hear a lecture, watch a video/DVD, or read a book, we are learning and recalling the information based on how we experience it. Since we only remember 20% of what we hear and 50% of what we see, but 80% of what we do, experiential training is the best deal going. While the activities are fun and action-packed, the essential component is the debriefing of the experience. Here, participants heighten awareness of their actions. This newfound awareness helps them explore actions and/or behaviors that can help or have hindered them in the workplace.

Compared with classroom training, there is a higher success rate of transferring the skills learned in adventure-based activities back to the workplace. Many companies are only seeking a one-shot thrill day. If the goal is strictly fun and not to change or improve how people work together, than these programs can be provided. (See list of ACE Activities.) This is why it is important to know what the objective is when planning the program. There are no quick fixes to genuine problems! This is why we offer a variety of programs and packages, including the opportunity to have a facilitator follow up back at the office to help members transfer what they learned back to work.

Okay, now to the work stuff. We need you to fill out a form. But we've done our best to make this as quick and painless as possible. Rest assured, every other facet of your adventure-based experience will be more fun than this page.
